The owners were genuinely attentive, even preparing a packed lunch for my early morning trip to Machu Picchu. It's these thoughtful gestures that enhance the overall experience, making it more than just a stay. The hotel is ideally situated, just a stone's throw from the Ollantaytambo Sanctuary and surrounded by craft markets, which made for convenient exploration. My room, facing the quiet courtyard, provided a peaceful retreat after a day of adventure. For those venturing to Ollantaytambo, El Chasqui offers a blend of comfortable accommodation and a taste of local hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend considering it for your travels.
